Extracurricular Activities
Students admitted into the STEM Academy Program are required to participate in a STEM related club and complete 30 hours of service learning. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to learn from guest speakers in the field of STEM, as well as visit regional businesses and educational settings.
Clubs
Science OlympiadScience Olympiad functions much like a football or soccer team, requiring preparation, commitment, coaching and practice throughout the year. Each school-based team consists of students who cross-train for a variety of events in their skill set.

T.S.A.T.S.A. students can work individually or as a team in such areas as gaming, robotics, website design, dragster design, flight challenge, CAD with 3D modeling, biotechnology, medical, envionmental, and much more!

Math CountsMath Counts Competitions strive to engage middle school students in fun, challenging math programs, in order to expand their academic and professional opportunities. Students will engage in "bee-style" contests against other bright and motivated students.

Community Connections
Students will examine problems in their community and create an action plan in order to solve or alleviate an issue. A total of 30 hours of community service is required.

Students will have an opportunity to attend field trips to businesses and educational settings, as well as benefit from guest speakers in the field of STEM careers.
